The Triad Adventurers (TA) is a group of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Allies (LGBTA) for the Triad of North Carolina (Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point) that actively engages in exploring the outdoors as well as local cultural and intellectual activities. Primary focus is on dayhikes and special events with future opportunities to engage multi-day backpacking and other adventures. This group welcomes individuals that are not afraid to explore the world.

A men's group for hiking, biking, kayaking, camping, backpacking, in the great outdoors, mountains views, high open meadows views, waterfalls, raging rivers, the beautiful coastal and esturaries, to local, state, region, and the other side of the country, day trips, overnight trips, extended trips for all men interested in meeting other men who love the natural world, and want to use their bodies to navigate our way , instead of using motorized modes.

Since 1892, the Sierra Club has been working to protect communities, wild places, and the planet itself. We are the oldest, largest, and most influential grassroots environmental organization in the United States. The NC Sierra Club Foothills Group offers outings events, environmental speakers, and conservation dinners. Anyone who is interested in environmental protection, conservation, and the exploration of the wild places of the earth should join in on the fun.

The members of the Roanoke Appalachian Trail Club are avid hikers and backpackers. We love the outdoors and we get out and hike and enjoy the trails of western Virginia as much as possible. Our club also maintains 120 miles of the Appalachian Trail as well as 16 shelters along the trail. The club was founded in 1932. We always welcome guests to come along on our hikes. We usually have two group hikes each weekend.

Calling all Jeep lovers! Let's see what kind of trouble we can get into! My goal is to get together at least once a month, go riding, 4 wheeling, muddying, camping - anything that involves a Jeep!  You don't need to own a Jeep to join.  You just gotta love 'em!
