Looking to create a group of backpackers in Reno who enjoy exploring the surrounding area. We will be doing mostly weekend 2-day, 1 night hikes with plans for 2-3 longer trips over the course of the summer. An average hike will be 3-8 miles one way to a remote lake on Saturday, a stay overnight and return hike on Sunday.

Our group meets many times a month for leader-less (non-guided, I can't stress this enough!!!) hikes.
