We're a friendly group of people who enjoy the outdoors and who like to have a good time. Most of our trips are two or three day backpacking trips within a few hours of DC. Adventuring is the outdoor club for the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered community in the Washington DC area. Our volunteers lead hikes year-round, and in the warmer months we do recreational bike rides too, some shorter and others longer. That's not everything though.
