Our main purpose is to go backpacking. It is also a place to share ideas of trips, gear, etc. This group is for those who love to put on a backpack and spend overnight trips out in the wilderness. All trips are non-smoking and we all practice Leave No Trace principals.

Our group meets many times a month for leader-less, (non-guided, can't stress this enough!!!), hikes. We we pick a day, a time, a hike from a map, and we hike! Many times it's our first time on the trail too.
