Tennessee Wild is dedicated to protecting wilderness on the Cherokee National Forest for the benefit and enjoyment of current and future generations. We aim to educate the public about the benefits of wilderness and promote volunteerism and the sound stewardship of Tennessee's wild places. We lead regular outings and trail maintenance trips as a means to create advocates for Tennessee's wild places.

To connect with parents that enjoy hiking, biking, swimming, being active with their children. We have found that our kids enjoy outdoor activities like hiking much more when there are more children doing it together.  We do trail hikes typically 2 to 3 miles that are kid friendly.  If you have children 3 or younger you may want to bring a backpack for them to ride in.
