Hi. Thanks for welcoming me. I look forward to meeting everyone and exploring the wilderness on long hikes!
What, if any, is your prior backpacking experience? Where have you been, and where would you like to go? Are you available for a week or more for an excursion in the summer? What information, ideas or expertise can you bring to this group?

I got all geared up for backpacking several years ago, and then my son was bit by a rattlesnake (he's fine now). So I have all the gear, but still haven't done an overnight. I'm hoping to meet a lot of friendly people to go with!

    Most of friends that I ride with are new to mtn biking, we ride in the Bay Area and in the Sierras sometimes...! Lots of good riding in Marin for novices..! We try mix the rides with some road and off-raod...
