Introduction: Hello, I live north in the Dayton area. I am new to the backpacking experience just starting out last August 2007. I love the outdoors. I am a trail runner, a beginner climber, bicyclist and hiker.
What was your most embarrassing backpacking moment?: No answer yet
What's the longest backpacking trip you've ever taken? (in mileage and/or days): My first trip was on the AT in the Shenandoah Park area. We did approx. 25 miles in 3 days.
What was your funniest backpacking moment?: No answer yet
What was your favorite backpacking experience?: The AT last August. It was a real confidence builder for me.
Please relate, in general terms, your backpacking experience.: I have all my own equipment and could travel independently. Fairly new. Have taken numerous classes, trying to educate myself in the area of survival, etc.
