This one is easy for me, 0 miles and 0 days. I haven't yet had the experience of carrying everything I need to survive in only one trip from the car. My longest hiking trip would be two all-day (and light night) hikes with a night of camping (500 feet from the car) in between.
It probably won't take me very long to have an embarrassing moment, and it will most likely relate to my ongoing goal to overcome my fear of heights. So far in hiking, it was freezing on the rope on Cloudsplitter at RRG, I didn't want to continue up or go back down (after a few minutes, and a little bit of help that was offered, I chose down).
This answer will most likely be linked to my future most embarrassing backpacking moment.
My favorite place to hike and camp is RRG, and it is too difficult to pick a favorite area/destination or hike.
I love hiking and camping, but have never carried a tent and everything I need in my backpack. It is something I'm looking forward to, but will probably only attend one-night trips until I am more experienced.

“ Hi, Beth! Welcome to the Cincinnati Area Backpackers Meetup group! We've got a lot of hikes scheduled. Check out our calendar of events. Also read our "New Backpacker Orientation" document in our files area. That should get you off to a good start if you are new to backpacking or just new to our Meetup group. Also, take a few minutes to fill in your backpacker profile. Thanks for joining up. I hope to see you at some meetings and on the trails! - ZuperDave ”
