- Hi all, I was hoping that someone would fire up this Meetup. I go out year around and usually lead 1 or 2, week long Grand Canyon trips each year and some AT Section hikes-- but usually do weekend trips in Western NC. BSF, WV, and the Smokys.
- What was your most embarrassing backpacking moment?

Getting into my sleeping bag with my light on in a back pocket -- and YES --for the record, " I did - already know that."
- What's the longest backpacking trip you've ever taken? (in mileage and/or days)

2-125 mile each, AT section hikes and 1-65 mile Grand Canyon Trek
- What was your funniest backpacking moment?

Watching an AT thru-hiker run across the clearing in front of a Maine shelter to gooble down an old pack of crackers left opened, on the ground.
- What was your favorite backpacking experience?

All my Grand Canyon treks, Desolation Wilderness -Fontanillis Lake Tahoe area, and the AT section across Presidentials in NH.

All weather BPer. Local S. Club trip leader, BP School Insructor, lead 1-2, week long, Grand Canyon treks each year, and have done a couple of 2-week, AT section hike in NE and Maine.
