Once again we'll be hiking along beautiful Lake Superior. This year we will be hiking ALL the trail, from start to finish, on the North Country Trail along the lake. The complete trail is around 42 miles.

We will meet Friday, September 4 at 7:30 AM CENTRAL TIME at the Grand Sable Visitor Center outside of Grand Marais, MI. A shuttle service will meet us at the visitor center and transport us to the other side of the park where we will begin our journey. (Be Careful- Michigan is on Eastern Time!!!)


Start off on Friday morning at Munising Falls, 1st night camp at Mosquito Group site (12 miles from start), 2nd night- Trappers Group site (12.4 miles from Mosquito Group site) , 3rd night- camp at Au Sable East Group site (10.9 miles from Trappers Group site). On Monday (labor day) we will hike out the remaining 7 miles to the Grand Sable Visitor Center.

Everyone will be required to pay a $40 deposit to hold a spot for this trip.
