Because this group hasn't been that active, it seems like an activity that allows time for people to chat and get acquainted would be best to start out, and then when people know each other better, an event like Lasertron might be better attended. My ideas for a meet-up aren't that original, but at least allow for conversation, such as happy hour or dinner at one of the great local restaurants. Bowling might also be fun because there's still opportunity to talk. ”
