Wow, in one summer we've grown to more than 100 members, that's terrific!
After speaking with a number of group members we're going to focus the group on three different things:
1. We will continue to plan one multi-day backpacking trip each month, including during the winter. If you are interested in planning a trip please send me an email and tell me when and where you'd like to go and I'll make you an assistant organizer so that you can plan the trip.
2. Once a week we will try to plan a hike or a snow shoe outing, mostly on Saturday or Sunday mornings. This will help us all to get to know each other without having to go on an overnight backpacking trip. If you've got an idea where to go (keep it close to Salt Lake and approximately 2-4 hours) please email me and I'll get it posted to the calendar.
3. During the week we will try to plan various running, hiking, biking and gym activities (usually early in the mornings) to stay in shape. If you are already running or working out in the mornings and would like company please email me the time/place/activity and maximum number of people you'd like to attend and I'll get it posted to the site.
