Introduction

My wife, Barbara Smith, recently joined. We hike together when we can. We recently moved from Tennessee to the Atlanta area and wanted to do some hiking and backbacking this coming year.

My wife and I have enjoyed hiking and backpacking together for about 15 years.

What is your level of backpacking experience?

I have backpacked on the AT in Tennessee north of the Smokey Mtns and up into Virginia about 50 miles. I have also done some in California and Colorodo. I've also backpacked other places such as Cumberland Gap. Mostly 2 or 3 days trips.

What part of town do you live? Enter Zip code? This will help in deciding on event car pool and meeting locations, etc.

We live in Woodstock, GA, zip 30189. We are near the I-575 intersection on Hwy 92.
