Rescheduled AT Section Hike

Ok first off I did delete the meetup March 28 so sorry but oh well new to this.
I don't mind the rain but don't like the threat of hail and tornadoes have been in those before and was not a fun trip.

This will be a section hike on AT starting at Springer Mountain to Woody Gap.

This is a 20.9 miles. We will spend the night at the top of Sassafras Mountain. We will hide water where the trail in next to road before we go up. There is no water on top.

There is early exit option at Gooch Gap.

Maps are ATC Chattahoochee National Forest and a great book of trail is "Exploring the Appalachian Trail"
Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee by Doris Gove.

So if your up for it and want to start your journey or log your miles let's go.
