Interested in backpacking some of the Appalachian Trail? My family and I plan to hike 32 miles over 3 days, from the Grayson Highlands State Park and the Wise Shelter on the AT, to the Partnership Shelter at the Mt. Rogers NRA Headquarters on VA Hwy 16. We plan to drive over on Thanksgiving Day itself and camp or stay somewhere locally there, to hit the trail early Friday morning. Read more
