$145.00 per person

We'll spend 3 days and 2 nights camping at Scorpion Landing CG on Santa Cruz Island in Channel Islands NP. You can bring an ice chest and some other luxuries. The beautiful island is a wilderness area but the campground has water and good bathrooms. Solar showers will be available.

This is a quasi-car camping trip but you'll have to carry your gear a 1/2 mile. We will head over Thursday and will camp near the beach in Ventura at Emma Woods SB. On Friday, the ferry will carry us and our gear to Santa Cruz Island 20 miles off the mainland. We will spend the weekend relaxing, kayaking, snorkeling, and hiking. The island is famous for its adventurous sea caves and we will be spelunking on kayaks. The island also has fun hiking trails with fantastic views. Cost is $145/person which includes everything (ferry ride, kayak rentals, camping fees, and kayak transport) except food and gas.

The hike leader is very experienced and has been to SCI 6 times.
