“ Dingmans Campground was a nice state park, rustic in settings, clean, monitored by the rangers with helpful advice each evening. Staff was polite. Would recommend this site as a good camping site, as long as your have other things to go out and do. Kayak shuttle was handled very well. 2 bears were spotted not far from the campground during out stay. ”

“ Nice campground, the sites vary in size, but site 129 fit 3 tents, site 124 fit 4 tents and a screen room and still had a huge amount of space. Site 111 was smaller, and only had two tents. By the river noise is minimal, closer to rt. 209 you get more road noise. Showers were normal for campgrounds I have been in, porta-potties (closer to my site) were actually pretty nice, even with a foot-pump sink. Fire rings/picnic tables were in good condition, and there was ample parking for the sites by the river. ”
