Introduction
Hello ; great group and events !
What's your favorite/least favorite 'critter' in the outdoors?

I love the critters ,yet vipers can stay away .

Are you a 4-season backpacker? What's the coldest temperature you've slept outdoor in.

I did not take the temp yet was likely sub zero in Shenandoah on Old Rag

Do you have current Wilderness First Aid training? If not, would you be interested in getting this certification?

Great question ; no I do not

Tell us about one of your favorite outdoor adventures.

Adirondack six peaks in a day and 44 (s)miles for Big Slide, (Yard) , Phelps , Table Top , Marcy , Gray (in the rain ) , Skylight (in a cloud) , Marcy , and Slant Rock Lean to. Now investing in a compass and back up flash light manual power .

What's your favorite snack food on the trail?

  •  Well, the Always part is the problem. Too many things to see and do yet not enough time! Every weekend since the 1st of the year has been spent in the woods for at least a day hike and 3 or 4 mornings/evenings a week at the local state forest letting the pup run. All these backpacking trips though are depleting my time off! I'd be up for starting a Dacks tour with you sometime in the spring before the views get too hazy! I also don't mind winter hiking/backpacking if you're up for that!

  •  "Poor Dacks ..so neglected." Oh, I got love for the Dacks, these other mountains are just a summer fling! If I start the Dacks I'm going to want to go back over and over and bag as many peaks as I can so I'm getting others out of the way now with one trip to each. But, Dacks will be glad to know my affair with the Whites isn't happening this year, couldn't work out the schedule.

  •  Hiking on the beach - for about 7 hours, with lots of water and swims. Thinking of Rehoboth. I run on the beach too, but in mornings with not crowded. Have a fun vacation!
