Introduction

I'm origionally from NJ and presently live in Wisconsin teaching at a small liberal arts college, teach outdoor education and leadership courses. I also run The Native Ways Association, an organization for primitive skills enthusiasts

Tell us about one of your favorite outdoor adventures.

skinny dipping in Lake Superior when there are a lot of uppity conservitives around,. Or whitewater kayaking

Do you have current Wilderness First Aid training? If not, would you be interested in getting this certification?

Im a 15 year WFR

Are you a 4-season backpacker? What's the coldest temperature you've slept outdoor in.

I've camped in -30f and like to backpack with as little on my back as possible

What's your favorite/least favorite 'critter' in the outdoors?

I like them all, but bugs are by far the funnest and easiest to watch. And they taste great!

What's your favorite snack food on the trail?

beef log. no really.
