The warm clothes are necessary in these mountains. It can be hot up to 90 degrees during the day but at night temperature can dip to below freezing with snow in the middle of the summer. It is not always the case it could be hot every night but in these mountain you never. It was snowing at night on July 2 when I was there 2 years ago.
This is a very hard backpacking trip and you will have to keep a good pace in order not to finish at midnight every night. I'm not responsible for any of you. This is not a paid trip. It is just an invitation to join me at your own risk. We do backpack in pairs so that if anything happens to either person in a group the other one can get help. Pair up with someone of your own speed.
When you RSVP please indicate whether you're driving or not and how many you can take with you.
thanks,
francisco
